Sunglasses ($24)These are cheap but they get the job done. They do slide off my nose a little bit if I'm sweaty.
HEADPHONES
Airpod prosGreat noise cancellation and integration with siri. They do cause a slight suction effect when sweating. Also, the battery life might not last a full marathon (>3 hours)Shokz OpenRunGood if you don't like noise cancellation and want to hear your surroundings. I used them for a while but I'm not a huge fan.
WATCH
COROS Pace 3My favorite fitess watch ever. It's super light and I only have to charge it once every 2-3 weeks. I also use it to track my sleep quality and duration. The downside is you can't load music onto it or use it to communicate without your phone. Apple WatchI used an Apple watch for years when I started my running journey. The biggest downside to me was the short battery life (I had to charge it everyday). It is nice if you want to be able to run without your phone since you can load music onto it and use it to call/text.
BELT
FlipBeltMy all-time favorite running belt. It's not adjustable but that's why I like it (no straps or hanging pieces).
SHORTS
New Balance Men's 5"My favorite shorts right now. I like that they have pockets that are deep enough to hold my phone and also short enough to be comfortable.
Lululemon Men'sI bought these because of a deal they were having. I put them as my second place since I'm not fan of brief liners.
ENERGY CHEWS
Clif BloksMy favorite fuel for long runs and race day. I like them because they don't make my hands sticky like gels do. I personally like the watermelon flavor without caffeine but they have a bunch of different flavors with/without caffeine.GuGu is what I used for race fuel in my early running days. I moved away from them because of the sticky hnds issue and because I like the sensation of chewing something while running.
SHOES
Saucony Triumph 22Great comfort and stack height. They're light so I usually use them for speed workBrooks Ghost Max 2Comfortable but a bit heavy and stiff. I like these for longer runs
SOCKS
BalegaMy all-time favorite running socks. I use them during training and for race day. They're the most comfortable and best with blister-resistance that I've found.FeeturesClose runner-up to Balega. I put them at number 2 because my toes have blistered a few times when using them for long runs. They also feel tighter on my foot and less 'cushy'.
